Clean instrument, Healthy player

Keeping your instrument clean will help keep you healthy. Woodwind players should swab out their instrument every time they play. Brass players should give their instrument a bath every month. (Woodwinds can NOT be given a bath.)

Here's what might happen if you don't clean your instrument regularly:
